Dear Friends,
Has it really been six years? One Dan Band has had a lot of fun traveling the highways of Florida for the past five years. We figure we average a hundred jobs a year, so that's...600 jobs?! Wow. And so many of them stand out in our memories.
There are our annual appearances at the Coliseum in St. Pete and Philippe Park in Safety Harbor. The Kumquat Festival in Dade City was a blast. The Manatee County Civic Center in Palmetto was another fun job, along with the PGA Village in Port St. Lucie. We've played for the Dunedin Rotary Club, the Clearwater Country Club, the St. Pete Yacht Club, the Belleair Country Club, and more condominium clubhouses than we can count.
We'll never forget the night Dan had the privilege of playing Jackie Gleason's piano in his old resort at Inverrary in Fort Lauderdale -- and what an honor to share the stage with the late legendary drummer Jim Chapin at the Naples Hilton.
